What I Learnt From Meeting Peter Andre
I am sure you will agree Peter Andre has been an idol for millions of people across the world for a number of years. Particularly known for his hit mysterious girl and then going on to become and presenter, t.v. personality and actor. I had the privilege of meeting Peter at an event organised by Big Business events where by myself, Adam Stott and a group of high performing business owners and entrepreneurs had a action packed night – full of glitz, glam and fun.
Peter shared some real impactful information on his career and some insight that I know you will find useful for your life/business. Peter shared that his secret to success was:
“Treat people well on your way up because if the worse happens they won’t kick you but they will hold their hand out to help you!”
For me this was powerful information that really resonated with me- It is so easy to forget the people that have been part of your journey, that have grafted with you, cried with you and laughed with you and sometimes when we are consumed by the euphoria of our success we can forget this. It is important that you exercise humbleness, to realise that we are all on our own paths and that if the worse was to happen that you can turn to your team, your support group for guidance.
Peter Andre shared another piece of valuable insight in order to reach the top of your potential:
“Stay focused and never give up – don’t quit, never give up because you will get close enough!”
How many of you have focused on something for a period of time and then suddenly lost interest, became overcome by fear and doubt? Never lose focus, stay focused on what you want to achieve, who you want to become and the difference you want to make. Once you lose focus on what it is you do want, the worry and anxiety of what you don’t want can creep in and sabotage your success drastically. For me failure is when you stop, when you stop pushing, stop growing and challenging your way to your idea of success.
