What I Learnt From Meeting Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua has dominated the boxing arena and as recent as beating his last opponent on the 22nd of September he just keeps proving why he is the best in the world!
When I meet Anthony Joshua, the first thing that was obvious to me was the size of the heavy weight champion of the world – he towered over me. Anthony gave me a fantastic piece of advice which I will share with you shortly but first of all I think it’s important that we know where Anthony Joshua came from and what he has overcome to reach the status he has achieved today.
Anthony Joshua spent most of his childhood in Nigeria after returning back to the UK after his mother and father split up, he then went on to begin working as a bricklayer – before his cousin took him to boxing training for the first time which obviously had a huge impact on his life . Anthony unfortunately went on to having a couple of run ins with the law which landed up with him being held on remand in 2007 and then arrested once again in 2011, in which both times he escaped long-term jail time.
Even though Anthony had a few ups and downs, just like you can he went onto become a master of his craft, heavy weight champion of the world (if you want to be) and very wealthy in the process of becoming so.
So when I meet Anthony Joshua I asked him what words of advice would he give to others when facing adversity his reply was simple but powerful:
“Never be afraid to ask for help”
How true this is, why is it so many of you suffer whether its in your personal life, business life or both – there is always help, support, coaching and mentoring available to help you break free and achieve the unlimited potential and possibilities available to you and your business.
I personally have worked with a number of individuals, business leaders and entrepreneurs who once they had reached that next level of achievement had one thing in common – they asked for help!
Maybe it’s time for you to ask for help, to stop trying to do it all on your own – if so I would love to hear from you so please reach out to me and we can discuss how you can be all you want to be either personally or professionally.
